Here at Warkworth Vets you'll enjoy working in a modern, purpose-built facility with 4 consult rooms, 2 surgeries, a dedicated prep and recovery area, separate X-ray and dental suites, a fully equipped in-house laboratory, separate cattery and kennel wards, on-site parking, and a comfortable staff lunchroom.

As a genuinely mixed clinic, we see a broad spectrum of cases — primarily small animals, supported by a diverse mix of lifestyle block & production clients. We’re known for our excellent standards of care & keeping the majority of our cases in‑house, including advanced medical and surgical cases, giving our veterinarians unparalleled clinical exposure and development opportunities. 

You’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative, and highly experienced team of 7 Vets & 7 Vet Nurses who genuinely enjoy working together and love what they do.

The Role

• Predominantly small animal, with a balance of lifestyle & production 
• 40 hours per week
• 1:5 weekend on-call rotation and a shift rotation to work out of our smaller Coast to Coast Vet Clinic in Wellsford
• Overnight support through ARC
• The majority of cases stay in‑house, supported by visiting specialists where needed, giving you real continuity and hands-on experience
