This is a permanent full-time role, recruiting graduate and experienced veterinarians across our General Practice network in Queensland.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager Talent Acquisition, you’ll partner closely with operational leaders and clinic teams to deliver tailored recruitment solutions that meet both immediate hiring needs and long-term workforce plans. This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative role where no two days are the same. You’ll proactively source and engage veterinary talent and build lasting relationships across the profession. That includes visiting our clinics, attending industry events and conferences, and working with our university partners. You’ll also give hiring leaders expert guidance throughout the recruitment process. You’ll play a key role in making sure every candidate has an outstanding experience, while helping our clinics attract and retain exceptional veterinary professionals.

What the Role Really Looks Like

At its heart, this is a recruitment role. Much of your week will be spent sourcing and approaching candidates, having career conversations by phone and video, managing several vacancies at once, and keeping hiring leaders updated. It suits people who enjoy the pace of matching great people to great opportunities and who are motivated by the result of a successful hire.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner with the General Manager Operations QLD, Regional Managers, Practice Managers and clinic leaders as a trusted recruitment advisor
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for graduate and experienced veterinarians across Queensland
• Build talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking and LinkedIn Recruiter
• Engage passive candidates and develop long-term relationships within the veterinary profession
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first conversation through to onboarding
• Attend veterinary conferences, networking events, university and careers initiatives
• Support veterinarian attraction, engagement and retention strategies
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying ways to enhance recruitment systems and processes

About You

We’re open to applicants from a range of backgrounds. You might be:

• An experienced Talent Acquisition or recruitment professional looking to specialise in the veterinary industry
• A veterinarian interested in moving into a people-focused career while staying connected to the profession
• Someone who thrives on building relationships and influencing positive outcomes

You’ll also bring:

• Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, business development or relationship management, or veterinary clinical experience with a genuine interest in recruitment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused mindset
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• A customer-first approach and commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate experience
• The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Experience in healthcare, medical or veterinary industries will be highly regarded but is not essential.
