Position: Part-Time Practice Manager

Vet MD – Murrumba Downs Vet is seeking an experienced and passionate Part-Time Practice Manager to join our friendly, dedicated team.

We are looking for someone who is organised, compassionate, and confident in leading the day-to-day operations of a busy veterinary practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys creating a positive workplace culture while supporting excellent patient care and client experiences.

About the Role

As Practice Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the clinic. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting our veterinary nursing and reception teams
  • Managing daily clinic operations and workflow
  • Supporting team development, training, and performance
  • Maintaining high standards of patient care and client service
  • Managing rosters, resources, and practice administration
  • Assisting with financial processes, reporting, and stock management
  • Helping drive continuous improvement across the practice

About You

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in veterinary practice management, leadership, or a senior veterinary nursing role is highly desired
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A people-focused leadership style with the ability to motivate and support a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • A passion for delivering outstanding veterinary care and client experiences
  • The ability to balance operational responsibilities with a caring, hands-on approach
