Animal Eye Care Melbourne is seeking locum coverage during August and December 2026, offering the opportunity to work within one of Australia's most established specialist ophthalmology hospitals while enjoying everything Melbourne has to offer.
As a referral-only ophthalmology centre, Animal Eye Care provides access to a large and diverse medical and surgical caseload, advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment, and a highly experienced multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

About You
- Board-certified Diplomate of the ACVO or ECVO, Fellow of the ANZCVS in Ophthalmology.
- Eligible for veterinary registration in Victoria, Australia
- Passionate about delivering exceptional ophthalmic care and client service
- Comfortable managing a broad range of ophthalmic medical and surgical cases, including cataract surgery
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with referring veterinarians, clients, and colleagues
- Keen to combine professional fulfilment with a Melbourne adventure
