Lead Veterinarian - VetWest Wanneroo

- VetWest Wanneroo
- Permanent Full-Time
Lead Veterinarian | VetWest Wanneroo | Part Time or Full Time
A team that knows each other. Nurses you can lean on. A leadership role you can make your own.
You arrive in the morning, catch up with the team and talk through the day ahead. There’s an interesting surgery on your list, a colleague keen to discuss a case and experienced nurses helping everything run smoothly.
At VetWest Wanneroo, you’ll stay hands-on in consulting and surgery while guiding a settled, collaborative team. It’s a chance to build on an already strong foundation, share your knowledge and help good people keep growing.
🐾 A team people choose to stay with
You’ll join four vets and ten nurses, with a minimum of three vets rostered each day. Our Head Nurse has been here for 20 years, most nurses have 10–20 years’ tenure, and our Practice Manager is also a nurse.
The culture is relaxed, social and professional, with regular catch-ups, games during meetings and strong relationships with the local community.
Located near Wanneroo Central and Lake Joondalup, our spacious clinic supports Fear Free and Cat Calm handling, with digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, an in-house IDEXX laboratory, a separate theatre and dedicated patient wards.
🩺 Your next step in leadership
Alongside your clinical work, you’ll mentor colleagues, lead case discussions and help shape clinical standards. You’ll have an experienced team beside you, plus peer support from nearby VetWest clinics and the wider VetPartners network.
