Lead Veterinarian - Pascoe Vale Veterinary Hospital, Melbourne!
Are you an experienced veterinarian who enjoys supporting others, bringing a team together and helping create a clinic where people genuinely enjoy coming to work?
At Pascoe Vale Veterinary Hospital, we’re looking for our next Lead Veterinarian! When it comes to Leadership, you don’t have to be the most advanced clinician in the room! What’s important is that you want the best for the team around you, the patients and the clinic.
You’ll be joining an experienced, collaborative team of vets who enjoy sharing knowledge, discussing cases and supporting one another.
We’re particularly proud of our very low staff turnover. Some of our reception team and our Practice Manager have been with the clinic for more than 20 years.
Our current Lead Veterinarian has also been part of Pascoe Vale for many years and is making a change to be closer to home. It means you’ll be stepping into an established clinic with good foundations, but you’ll always be able to share new ideas, be part of discussions. Implement change and be involved in decisions.
Leadership & support
Being a Lead Vet doesn’t mean doing everything yourself.
Alongside your wonderful Practice Manager and lovely clinic team, you’ll help shape the clinical direction, support and mentor your fellow vet team and continue building the positive culture already in place.
You’ll also have:
- Regular support and catchups with Vet Manager - Dr Emma Christie
- Dedicated Lead Vet meetings with other Lead Vets across Victoria
- A wider network of veterinary leaders to collaborate with and learn from
- Leadership development and training + Veterinary Training Centre courses
- The opportunity to influence clinical standards, team development and how your clinic operates
You’ll have the autonomy to lead locally, with the support of a much larger veterinary network behind you across Australia & New Zealand.
A roster designed to make veterinary medicine sustainable
We want our vets to have the time to practice good medicine and leave work on time.
Choose between 30 - 38 hours per week, with:
